Possible cause
The card is not inserted,

recognized.
There is a problem with
the card, so the camera
will not function.

on the card.
There is a problem with
the selected picture, so
it cannot be played back
on this camera.
The card is not
formatted.
The card cover is open.
Corrective action

Insert a card correctly or insert a
different card.

If the card is dirty, wipe the gold
contacts with a clean tissue and
insert it again. If the problem is still
not corrected, the card cannot be
used.
