Using Filter Functions ● Applying Monochrome Effect The monochrome effect changes the image to monochrome (grayscale). To apply monochrome effect to an image, follow the procedure below. 1 From the [Filter] menu in the [Image Edit] window, select [Monochrome]. The edit setting panel shows the [Monochrome] options. 2 Drag the [Contrast] slider to adjust the contrast. Tips • You can also click the edit box and directly enter a value using the keyboard. Press the Return key after entering a value. • Values can range from -100 to +100. 3 Click the [Apply] button. The monochrome effect is applied to the image in the image display area. 325

Applying Monochrome Effect
The monochrome effect changes the image to monochrome (grayscale).
To apply monochrome effect to an image, follow the procedure below.

From the [Filter] menu in the [Image Edit] window, select [Monochrome].
The edit setting panel shows the [Monochrome] options.

Drag the [Contrast] slider to adjust the contrast.

The monochrome effect is applied to the image in the image display area.
