Verbal Comment The data recorded with the F1(VERBAL) button being pressed during recording, is recorded as a Verbal comment position (a position within a file) in the header. It is possible to instantly search and play back Verbal comment sections through DSS Player, thereby making it useful for things like giving instructions to transcriptionists. 3 F1 button Verbal Comment OK/MENU, +, 9, 0 button ERASE button Setting a Verbal Comment 1 While the recorder is recording mode, press and hold the F1(VERBAL) button, then release it when you want to stop. Audio recorded while continuing to hold the F1(VERBAL) button will be recorded as Verbal Comment.
