Advanced shooting modes Aperture values and shutter speeds in the P mode In the P mode, the camera is programed so that the aperture value and shutter speed are selected automatically according to the subject brightness as shown below. When using the ED 50mm f2 MACRO lens (e.g. when EV is 7, the 3 aperture value is set to F2 and the shutter speed to 1/30.) When using the 14mm-54mm f2.8-3.5 zoom lens (focal length : 54mm) When using the 14mm-54mm f2.8-3.5 zoom lens (focal length : 14mm) Selecting the right mode for shooting conditions Program shift (%) By rotating the control dial in the P mode, you can change the combination of aperture and shutter speed while keeping the optimum exposure. The program shift setting will not be canceled after shooting. To cancel program shift setting, rotate the control dial so that the viewfinder indication % changes to P or turn off the power. Selecting the right mode for shooting conditions
Aperture values and shutter speeds in the
P
mode
In the
P
mode, the camera is programed so that the aperture value and
shutter speed are selected automatically according to the subject brightness
as shown below.

By rotating the control dial in the

mode, you
can change the combination of aperture and
shutter speed while keeping the optimum
exposure.
The program shift setting will not be canceled
after shooting. To cancel program shift setting,
rotate the control dial so that the viewfinder
