Selecting the record mode

RAW This is unprocessed data that has not undergone changes in white balance, sharpness, contrast or color. To display as an image on the computer, use OLYMPUS Master. RAW data cannot be displayed on a different camera or by using common software, and it cannot be selected for print reservation. RAW files are assigned an ".ORF" file extension. RAW images can be edited with this camera and saved as JPEG data. g"Editing still images" (P. 89) Selecting the record mode JPEG For JPEG, you can register 4 combinations of images sizes (Y, X, W) and compression rates (SF, F, N, B) from the 12 total combinations available. g"K SET" (P. 108) When you select the X or W image size, you can further select the pixel size. g"PIXEL COUNT" (P. 109) JPEG+RAW Records both a JPEG and RAW image at the same time each time you take a picture.
