Menu setting method EDevice Menu Auto Power Off A n Forgetting to turn the power off can be prevented. If the recorder remains in stop mode for over 10 minutes (Initial setting) while the power is turned on, the power will be turned off. [5min.] [10min.] [30min.] [1hour]: Set the length of time before the power will be turned off. EN 74 Menu setting method HDMI A n Set this when connecting the recorder to a TV to play movie files. [480p/576p] [720p] [1080i]: • For details on connecting the recorder to a TV, see ☞ P.56. Notes • When set to [1080i], 1080i format takes priority for HDMI output. However, if this setting does not match the input setting of the TV, the signal format is changed first to [720p] and then to [480p/576p]. For details on changing the input setting of the TV, refer to the TV's instruction manual. • When the recorder is connected to the computer by the USB cable, do not connect the HDMI cable to the recorder. • The main LCD will be off when an HDMI cable is connected to the recorder. Reset Settings A n This returns the functions back to their initial settings (factory default). [Start]: Returns the settings to their initial values. [Cancel]: Takes you back to [Device Menu]. • After resetting the settings, the time settings, file numbers and folder name will be preserved, will not return to their initial settings.
