Button operations 3 Mode dial Switching between shooting and playback modes Set the mode dial to the desired shooting or playback mode. K Shooting still pictures The camera determines the optimum settings and shoots the picture. s Shoot pictures by selecting a scene according to the situation 1 You can shoot pictures by selecting a scene according to the situation. Select the scene/change the scene to another one • Press the m button to select [SCN] from the top menu, and change it to another scene. • By switching to the other scene, most settings will be changed to the default settings of each scene. g Follow the shooting guide for setting GUIDE SHOOTING IJ Brightening subject. ij Shooting into backlight. SET OK Follow the shooting guide displayed on the screen to set the target items. • To change the setting without using the shooting guide, set the shooting mode to another one. • The content set using the shooting guide will change to the default setting by pressing the m button or changing the mode using the mode dial. n Recording movies Audio is recorded with the movie. A This lights red during movie recording. 00:36 The remaining recording time is displayed. The camera determines the optimum settings and shoots the picture.
You can shoot pictures by selecting a scene according to the situation.
Select the scene/change the scene to another one
• Press the
m
button to select [SCN] from the top menu, and change it to
another scene.
• By switching to the other scene, most settings will be changed to the default
settings of each scene.
Follow the shooting guide displayed on the screen to
set the target items.
To change the setting without using the shooting
guide, set the shooting mode to another one.
The content set using the shooting guide will change
to the default setting by pressing the

Audio is recorded with the movie.
The last picture taken is displayed.
