When trying to operatethe main unit without a tape inserted. 2. When the tape comesto the end. 3. When trying to perform quick eraseon a tape with the safety lugs removed. 4. To avoid accidental erasure,break and rerrove the safery lug on the Microcassetteby pushing it inward with a ball-point pen or any other hard pointed object. 2.
