Recording Notes Microphone sensitivity • Recording level cannot be controlled using the volume button. • When using the earphones, do NOT set the Microphone sensitivity is adjustable to meet recording needs. volume too high. Recording [CONF]: This is a highly sensitive mode which can record surrounding noises. [DICT]: This is the standard level of microphone sensitivity. Select this mode for cases where the volume of the source sound is high, such as a band performance. Note • When you would like to clearly record a speaker's voice, set the MIC SENSE CONF/DICT switch to [DICT] and hold the recorder's built-in stereo microphone close to the speaker's EN mouth (5-10 cm) before recording. 23
