Innovative Design that Saves Money Why Lamp-Free Technology? As part of its mission to deliver right-fit projection to its customers, Optoma strives to be a leader in emerging light source technologies. Optoma's portfolio includes LED-based projectors to deliver small and light form factors with instant on/off, as well as combination LED/ laser models that serve the needs of those who want the benefits of LED for larger audiences and bigger screens. Instant On/Off Optoma's lamp-free technologies enable users to take advantage of instant on/ off capabilities to streamline use during meetings or classes. No Lamps to Replace Optoma leads the industry in delivering cutting-edge projection technology to its customers. The EcoBright family of projectors is virtually maintenance free, as there are no lamps or filters to replace. No Screen Burn Optoma's LED-based technology minimizes the risk of screen burn, the permanent image retention found in plasma displays. Lower Total Cost of Ownership Optoma's EcoBright projectors deliver optimal return on investment over time, based on long life, no need to replace lamps or filters, reduced energy use and minimal upkeep. $25,000 $20,000 $15,000 $ $ $10,000 $ $5,000 1 2 3 4 YEARS OF USE Based on the installation of 50 projectors comparing a typical lamp based projector and an Optoma EcoBright projector, you could save $6,750 just on electricity over a 5-year period. Optoma has developed a combination LED/laser engine for its new Z-series that uses both LEDs and lasers to provide the optimal combination of energy efficiency, brightness and color accuracy. In Optoma's Z-Series, LED technology delivers the two more efficient colors (Red/Blue). Meanwhile, a blue laser and green phosphor wheel is employed to drive the lower-efficiency Green color. A sealed optical system, lens and light source protects the projector from harmful dust which can reduce the lifespan of the projector. The Z-series form factor also enables better thermal and noise control, so that these projectors run very cool and quiet.
