QUICK TIPS FOR USING YOUR OSTER® COUNTERTOP OVEN Model: T S S T T V D G 0 1 Refer to your Oven Manual for Important Safeguards and cleaning instructions. BEFORE USING YOUR COUNTERTOP OVEN • Remove any stickers and papers in and on the countertop oven. • Clean the wire rack, broil rack and baking/cookie pan with hot water, a small amount of dishwashing liquid and a nonabrasive sponge or cleaning pad. ** During initial start up, you may detect a slight smell and/or smoke. Don't worry this is normal. Turn the temperature to 450º and let run for approximately 5 minutes to allow the smell or smoke to dissipate. Warning: Make sure there is a 6-inch (15.24cm) clearance between the countertop oven and any other surface. TO USE THE TOAST & BAGEL FUNCTIONS We simplified toasting for more precise, consistent results with less hassle. 1 Place food on Wire Rack. (Use bottom rack position for best results.) 4 Turn the Temperature/Time Knob to select the desired shade setting. TO USE ALL OTHER FUNCTIONS 1 Place food on Wire Rack. Follow steps 4-5 to modify preset time and temperature. Otherwise, skip to step 6. 4 Turn the Temperature/Time Knob to select the desired temperature, then press the knob once to set the selection. 2 Close glass door completely. 5 Turn the Temperature/Time Knob to select the desired cooking time. 3 Turn the Function Knob to Pizza, Bake, Broil, Cookies, Roast, Warm, Defrost or Reheat. The selected function will be highlighted on the LCD. 6 Press the Start/Cancel Button to start the cooking process. When complete, three beeps will sound. 2 Close glass door completely. 5 Press the Start/Cancel Button to start the toasting process. When complete, three beeps will sound. 3 Turn the Function Knob to select Toast or Bagel. NOTE: The temperature or time is not adjustable for the Toast function. NOTE: To turn off the oven at any time, press the Start/Cancel button (The LCD will turn off after 30 seconds) Turbo Convection Heat* will automatically activate for Pizza, Cookies, Bake and Roast functions. To de-activate this feature push the turbo button once. *NOTE: Turbo Convection Heat uses a built in fan to circulate hot air in the oven chamber, cooking your food faster and more evenly. For best results, preheat oven 5-7 minutes at desired temperature with oven rack in place.
