IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following: READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS • READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS. • Surface is hot. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. • Move or lift the electric DOUBLE BURNER by its sides after it has cooled completely. • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs or Housing Unit in water or other liquids. • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. • Do not use appliance unattended. • Unplug from the wall outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts. • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Call Customer Service (see warranty) to return for examination, repair or adjustment. • The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries. • Do not use outdoors. • Do not let cord hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch hot surfaces. • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven. • Extreme caution must be used when moving any pot or pan containing hot oil or other hot liquids from this appliance. • Do not use this appliance for anything other than its intended use. This appliance is for household use only. • To disconnect, turn Temperature Control Dials to OFF, then remove plug from wall outlet. English-2
