Tuning in When you turn on the TV for the first time, you should perform an auto channel search to set up stations on your TV. Note: Be sure to select the TV source input before operation. Auto Channel Search Press MENU to display the menu main page, then press VOL+/button repeatedlyto select lmenu. Press CH+/- to select AUTO PROGRAM item. Press VOL+/- and the TV set starts Auto channel preset. All active channels will be preset and stored into the memory automatically. Manual Channel Search Use CH SEARCH if desired channels can not be memorized or if you would like to store programs to specific channel numbers one by one. Navigate to menu, select POS NO. item by CH+/- and set the desired channel number (from 1-200) by VOL+/- or digit buttons. 2 Press CH+/- to select CH SEARCH item. Press VOL+ button, the set searches towards higher frequency. Press VOL- button, the set searches towards lower frequency. The search stops when a program is found and this program will be stored in the specified position number. • Repeat the above steps if you want to store another program in other position number. To Skip Unwanted Channels After memorizing the channels, you can skip unwanted channels so that only the channels you want to watch are selected with CH+/buttons. 1 Navigate to1215. menu, select POS NO. item by CH+/- and set the desired channel number (from 1-200) by VOL+/-or digit buttons. 2 Press CH+/- to select POS SKIP item, press VOL+/-to select ON or OFF. IfON is selected, then the selected channel will be skipped. IfOFF is selected, then the selected channels will not be skipped. After exiting the menu, the channels will then be skipped when you select programs with CH+/- buttons. Tuning in (continued) Fine Tuning When picture and sound's effect of a channel is poor (for example: one or two CATV channel's picture and sound are not standard), you can correct them by making use of Fine tuning. 1 Navigate to ! menu, select FINETUNE item by CH+/- button. 2 Press VOL+/- to fine tune the channel until the best possible picture and sound are achieved. (I) Notes: If you perform manual fine tuning, the AFT function will be turned off automatically. AFT (Automatic Frequency Tuning) If picture and sound's effect of the channel is instead poor by making use of Fine Tuning, you can correct them by making use ofAFT. 1 Navigate to SI menu, select AFT item by CH+/- button. Press VOL+/-to select ON to turn on AFT. To turn offAFT, select OFF. 2 To exit, press MENU button repeatedly. (1) Notes: When theAFT is set to ON, the unit will automatically tune the program frequency to provide the best possible picture and sound. Editing Channels The Exchange function is for you to arrange channel order as you wish. Navigate to.
