Safeguards Chapter 1. Important Safeguards When you clean the TV and the surface of LCD panel be sure to pull the plug from the Wall outlet. Use a Soft Cloth instead of using damp duster. Do not use any chemicals such as industrial polisher, abrasive solution, wax, benzene, alcohol, or cleaning detergents. Chemical cleaners may fade,dissolve, or crack the TV surface. Do not drop the unit or make any scratch on the panel. Any scratch on the panel or dropping of the product may cause functional failure. If you find any water drops or stains on the display, wipe it with a clean cloth. Using the display with 100% brightness may reduce the life of the LCD panel. Install the TV at the specified position from the wall to ensure adequate ventilation. A rise in temperature of the TV may cause premature failure. 3
