Disassembly / Reassembly Note : Power off the computer. Do not shut down to the Suspend or hibernation mode. Do not add peripherals while the computer is in the Suspend or hibernation mode; abnormal operation may result. 1. Removing the Battery Pack Battery Cover 3. Slide the Battery Lock Knob, and then without releasing it, slide and remove the Battery Pack. 2. Removing the HDD Mounting KIT HDD Lock Knob Slide Slide HDD Case 1. Remove the HDD Case Upper. 2. Slide the HDD FPC Cover and Remove the brock. 3. Disconnect the HDD. 4. Remove the hocks and remove the HDD FPC Guide. 5. Remove the HDD FPC Cover and remove the HDD FPC. HDD Mouting KIT 1. Slide the HDD Lock Knob, and then without releasing it, slide the HDD Mounting KIT. 2. Remove the HDD Mounting KIT. 14-1

1. Removing the Battery Pack

Note : Power off the computer. Do not shut down to the Suspend or hibernation mode.
Do not add peripherals while the computer is in the Suspend or hibernation mode;
abnormal operation may result.
1. Slide the Battery Cover and remove it.
2. Slide the Battery Lock Knob, and then without
releasing it, slide and remove the Battery Pack.

1. Remove the HDD Case Upper.
2. Slide the HDD FPC Cover and Remove the <A>
brock.
3. Disconnect the HDD.
4. Remove the hocks and remove the HDD FPC Guide.
5. Remove the HDD FPC Cover and remove the
HDD FPC.
1. Slide the HDD Lock Knob, and then without releasing
it, slide the HDD Mounting KIT.
2. Remove the HDD Mounting KIT.
