Playing discs 1 Open the lid. Headphone terminals [¤] œ3.5 mm (1/8S) stereo mini plug OPEN Playing discs 2 Insert a disc and close the lid. AV SELECT Click into place Load double-sided discs so the label for the side you want to play is facing up. p DVD-RAM: Remove discs from their cartridges before use. p Some discs start to play automatically when the unit is on. 3 Press and hold. ON The unit turns on and play begins. p When "SD" or "AUX" is displayed, press [AV SELECT] several times until "DISC" is displayed. VOL When using headphones, turn down the volume before connection. p To play [JPEG], [MP3] or [MPEG4] on DVD-RAM that contain both [DVD-VR] and another format (e.g. [JPEG]), select "Play as Data Disc" (➜ page 25, Other Menu). p While stopped, the unit automatically turns off once 15 minutes (after approximately 5 minutes when using the battery pack) have elapsed. p Discs continue to rotate while menus are displayed. Press [w, -OFF] when you finish to preserve the unit's motor. p Total title number may not be displayed properly on KR/KRW. p If you are experiencing problems, refer to troubleshooting guide (➜ page 36).
