For proper operating performance, the straightener must be kept clean. When cleaning is needed, unplug the cord, and brush inside the nanoeTM Outlet with the Cleaning Brush (included). To clean the outer surface of the straightener, use a cloth that has been soaked in soap and water and well wrung out. This straightener should be stored out of reach of children. Warning - To prevent the risk of electric shock, personal injury or fire, observe the following: 1. Do not perform any servicing. This straightener has no user-serviceable parts. 2. Never allow the power supply cord to be pulled, twisted, or severely bent. 3. Never wrap the cord tightly around the straightener. Damage will occur at the high flex point of entry into the straightener, causing it to rupture and short. Inspect the cord frequently for damage. Stop use immediately if damage is visible or unit stops or operates intermittently. 18
