How to Charge 1. Insert the charging plug into the charging jack of the main body completely. 2. Insert the charging adaptor into an AC outlet. 3. Keep the switch in the OFF position while charging. Warning • This device should not be used on swollen or inflamed areas or skin lacerations. In case of calf pain, do not use without consulting a physician. • To avoid possible injury this massaging appliance is not for use by children, or for them to play with as a toy. Keep out of their reach. Caution 1. If you are pregnant, ill, or have an injury, consult your physician before using the unit. 2. Avoid using on any bone, head, abdomen, joints or thyroid gland (just below Adam's Apple). 3. Do not store at over 50 'C (104 °F). 4. It is suggested that if the unit has not been used for over 6 months, unit should be fully charged (5 hours). 5. Do not charge if surrounding temperature is below 0 'C (32 °F) or above 40 °C (122 'F). (May cause battery deterioration.) 6. Do not charge in direct sunlight or near heatradiating surface. (May cause battery deterioration.) 7. Do not drop or put excessive force on the unit. (May cause breakage.) 4. During charging, charging indicator will light up. Standard charging time is 5 hours. 5. After charging, remove the charging adaptor from AC outlet. NOTE: Use only with ADAPTOR Model AD 294 for charging. • The massager should be pleasant and comfortable. If you feel pain or discomfort, discontinue to use immediately and consult a physician. • Remove the charging adaptor from the main body while massaging. 8. Do not pick up the unit with the cord or otherwise pull on the cord. (May cause breakage.) 9. Keep the ventilation openings free of obstructions. Keep hairpins and the like out of charging jack. 10. Do not use or store in a bathroom or other moist area. 11. Do not disassemble or try to fix by yourself. 12. Clean the unit with a cloth soaked in warm, soapy water. 13. Roller can be removed for easy cleaning by pulling roller straight out. After cleaning with a damp cloth, push roller back in, making sure it firmly snaps in. Do not use massager if roller is not properly in place. -4-
