[REC MODE] Switch the picture quality and recording format of the motion pictures to record. MENU : [RECORD SETUP] # [REC MODE] # desired setting [HA]/[HG]/[HX]/[HE]*1: [1080/60p]*2: [iFrame]*3: Set the recording mode to 1080/60i. Set the recording mode to 1080/60p. Set the recording mode to iFrame. *1 Recording will have higher quality in the order of [HA], [HG], [HX] and [HE]. *2 It can record with highest quality image in this unit. *3 [iFrame] is a format suitable for Mac (iMovie'11). It is recommended when using a Mac. ≥ Recordable time using the battery (l 22) ≥ This function's default setting is [HG] mode. ≥ Please refer to page 149 about approximate recordable time. ≥ When the unit is moved a lot or moved quickly, or when a fast-moving subject is recorded (particularly when recording in [HE] mode), mosaic-type noise may appear at playback. (It allows you to record only to SD card from built-in memory.) ≥ Set [MEDIA SELECT] to [Built-inMemory]. ≥ Set [REC MODE] to [HA], [HG], [HX], [HE] or [1080/60p]. ≥ Insert an SD card. MENU : [RECORD SETUP] # [RELAY REC] # [ON] ≥ is displayed on the screen. will disappear when space in the built-in memory is gone and the recording to the SD card starts. ≥ Relay Recording can only be performed once. ≥ Combine the scenes that were relay-recorded using the [RELAY SCENE COMBINE] into the SD card. If the [RELAY REC] is set to [ON] without performing the [RELAY SCENE COMBINE], a message is displayed.
