Problem When connected by the USB cable, this unit is not detected by the PC. When the USB cable is disconnected, an error message will appear on the PC. Cannot see the PDF operating instructions for HD Writer AE 5.2. With a PC Check points ≥ After re-inserting the SD card into the unit, reconnect the supplied USB cable. ≥ Select another USB terminal on the PC. ≥ Check the operating environment. (l 171, 178) ≥ Connect the supplied USB cable again after restarting the PC and turning on this unit again. ≥ To disconnect the USB cable safely, select the icon in task tray displayed on the PC, and then select the model number of this unit to disconnect the USB cable. ≥ You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or later or Adobe Reader 7.0 or later to read the PDF operating instructions for HD Writer AE 5.2. Problem Cannot connect to wireless access point or smartphone. Cannot operate from smartphone using [Link to Cell]. When I look at the recording screen with the smartphone, mosaic-like noise appears on the screen and the image movement does not look smooth. Cannot use [DLNA Play]. I have forgotten the password for the Wi-Fi. About the Wi-Fi function Check points ≥ Read page 150 if the Wi-Fi connection cannot be established. ≥ Install the smartphone app "Image App" on your smartphone. (l 141) ≥ When this unit is set to any of the following recording formats or recording modes, mosaic-like noise may appear on the screen and the image movement may not look smooth. (Recorded images will not be affected.) j Recording mode [1080/60p] for the recording format [AVCHD] j Recording mode [1080/50M] or [1080/28M] for the recording format [MP4/iFrame] ≥ Make sure the television is compatible with DLNA. Read the instructions for the television you are using. ≥ Make sure the wireless access point and this device are properly connected. ≥ Approach the wireless access point and reconnect. ≥ If a connection cannot be made between this device and a DLNA-compatible device, try to reconnect and make sure they connect properly. ≥ Perform [Reset Wi-Fi Settings] from the Setup menu (l 37). This will set the Wi-Fi setting to the condition at the time of purchase, and you will be able to use the Wi-Fi setting menu. When performing [Reset Wi-Fi Settings], all Wi-Fi settings including registered wireless access points will be deleted. - 187 -
