Portrait mode ≥ If this mode is used indoors, the screen may flicker. If so, change the scene mode setting to [OFF]. Spotlight mode ≥ If the recording subject is extremely bright, the subject may become washed out and the periphery extremely darkened. Surf & snow mode ≥ If the subject is extremely bright, the recorded image may become washed out. Manual focus adjustment If auto focusing is difficult due to the conditions, then use manual focus. ≥ Set the AUTO/MANUAL/FOCUS switch to MANUAL. (l 59) 1 (When MF assist function is used) Select the menu. (l 27) [ADVANCED] # [MF ASSIST] # [ON] ≥ This function's default setting is [ON]. ≥ MF assist does not work if the zoom magnification is more than 10k. ≥ The part of the screen that is enlarged is not enlarged on the image actually recorded. ≥ The zebra pattern does not appear on the part 2 Move the switch down and set it of the screen that is enlarged when [ZEBRA] is [ON]. to FOCUS position.
