Troubleshooting Follow the procedures described below. If you are not able to solve the problem, contact your dealer. Power source Problem The power is not on. Cause and Remedy • Are the power cord and AC adaptor connected correctly? Connect the power cord and AC adaptor correctly. Flatten out the ink sheet. 22 • Have you inserted the paper cassette as far as it will go? Insert the paper cassette all the way in. 21 • Does the size of paper cassette and ink cassette match? Make sure that the paper cassette and ink cassette 18 sizes match. • Have you been printing continuously or printing when the room temperature is high? Printing operations may temporarily halt in order 10 to keep the internal temperature of the printer from 93 rising. The PRINT lamp will change to lit status at this time. This is not a malfunction. Please wait until the internal temperature of the printer goes down. • Has the ink in the ink cassette run out? Replace the ink cassette. 22 94
