Initial Setup LIGHT button: When LIGHT is pressed, (DVD, , DSS/CABLE, CH UP/DOWN, VOL UP/DOWN) buttons will light for 5 seconds for easy button location. If no button is pressed in 5 seconds, the light goes out to conserve the batteries. EJECT/OPEN/CLOSE button: When this button is pressed in TV-VCR mode, the tape is ejected. This button is inoperative if pressed during recording. If pressed in DVD mode, the disc tray opens or closes. Indicators on the Front Panel REC Indicator (RED) Lights during recording. In Rec Pause or OTR Pause mode, the indicator flashes. Pg 18. Remote Sensor ON TIMER Indicator (ORANGE) Lights when the On-Timer is set. Pg 26.
