APPENDIX Connecting to a PC Synchronize files and exchange data with a computer using the USB data cable. Selecting the USB mode 1 Connect the USB cable to the MarauderTM. 2 Connect the other end of the cable to your computer. 3 Select the USB mode in the USB connection settings screen. Relevant software or windows will appear for each USB mode: xx Tap Media device (MTP) to transfer media files with your PC. You can also synchronize data with Window Media PlayerTM. xx Tap Camera (PTP) to transfer photos to your PC. xx Tap External memory(SD card) your PC to recognize the microSDTM card as external memory and transfer files. In the USB mass storage screen, tap Turn on USB storage to use the device as mass storage right away. Tap Close screen to go back to the USB connection settings screen. This USB mode will be active only when the microSDTM card is inserted onto the device. xx Tap PC data mode to transfer files via PC tools. PC data mode is selected by default. xx Tap Ask on plug to set the USB mode whenever you connect it to PC. If you deselect the checkbox next to Ask on plug, the USB connection settings will not appear when you connect the device to your PC using the USB cable. 4 Tap Tips on the bottom of the screen more information about the USB mode. Changing the USB mode in the status bar 1 Connect the MarauderTM to your computer using the USB cable. 2 Tap and pull down the status bar on the Home Screen. 3 Tap Connected as a PC data mode, Connected as a media device, Connected as a camera, or Connected as an installer, and change the USB connection mode. End User License Agreement (EULA) Your use of Visual Voicemail confirms that you are the account owner, you are authorized to sign up for this service and you agree to pay the monthly subscription fee. Basic Voicemail and Verizon coverage areas are required to use Visual Voicemail. Visual Voicemail may not support all traditional Voicemail features which will remain accessible by dialing *86 from your handset. Standard messaging rates apply to any messages initiated from Visual Voicemail. Accessing Voicemail, Call Forwarding, Call Return, Personal Operator and other features are subject to airtime, long distance, roaming charges and taxes and IN Calling minutes do not apply. Visual Voicemail and traditional Voicemail may not always be synchronized and if you cancel Visual Voicemail you may lose all stored Voicemails and information. 165
