Viewing Images with your Macintosh By using the provided USB cable (I-USB7) or card reader and image-browser software, you can transfer images recorded with the camera to your Macintosh and edit them or print them out. This section explains how to view images on your Macintosh using the provided USB driver and software. About the included software The included CD-ROM (S-SW7) contains the following software: • Image-browser software (ACDSee™) System environment OS: Mac OS 8.6 or later (QuickTime 4.0 or later required) CPU: Power PC 266MHz or higher Memory: 8MB or more Hard disk space: 6MB or more Standard equipped USB port Caution • When you connect the camera to your Macintosh, you are recommended to use the AC adapter. If the battery power runs out while image data is being transferred, the data may be lost. Installing the software Installing the USB Driver and the ACDSee™ on your Macintosh The procedures for installing the necessary software are explained. Many current and recent Macintosh computers will automatically recognize the camera and load their own USB mass storage drivers.
