Connecting your camera and PC z Turn on your computer. x Turn your camera off, and Plug the USB cable into your camera and into an available USB port on your computer. Make sure that the CF card in the camera. c Turn your camera on. v Double click the [My Computer]. Your camera can then be found in the [ My Computer] window as [Removable Disk]. Playback/Erasing • Although images can be viewed and printed, image data is memo on the CF card in the camera. To save the image data on the CF card to another medium, refer to the instruction manual of your PC and move or copy files using Explorer, etc. • You can edit images on your PC after moving or copying files there. • In the case of Windows XP, if the CF card has a volume label attached, the content of the volume label will be displayed instead of [Removable Disk]. If the CF card is new and has not been formatted, the manufacturer and capacity of the 86 card will be displayed.
