When using a Type C flash (except AF200SA and AF220T) in the MS (Manual Sync) or M (Manual) modes or when using a Type D flash, set the camera's exposure mode to the Aperture-Priority AE Mode, Manual or Bulb. The Program and Aperture-Priority AE Modes cannot be used because the actual required aperture value may change. *2. Only the AF200SA flash does not operate. *3. Only the manual mode can be used. *4. Multi-burst and slave-sync flash are possible. Using other type of a flash Use of non-Pentax flash units may damage the camera. For the best results, use a Pentax dedicated flash unit.
