[Battery Check) Slide the flash on/off switch upward to "ON". If the flash-ready lamp comes on within a few seconds, it means the batteries are good. If it takes more than 30 seconds to come on, replace the batteries with new ones. [Battery Life] With a set of fresh manganese alkaline batteries you should be able to take more than 360 flash shots in successive sequence.
