Shooting Functions 112 4 • When [Sound] is set to g (On), the camera operation sounds are also recorded. When recording a movie, mount the camera onto a tripod and do not operate the camera while recording. • When recording a movie, regardless of the focus method setting, recording starts when the shutter release button is pressed fully even if the subject is not in focus. • While recording a movie, the autofocus system does not operate. • The flash is not available. • When recording a movie using image processing, such as Digital Filter, some frames may be omitted from the recorded movie. • If the internal temperature of the camera becomes high during movie recording, the recording may be terminated to protect the camera circuitry. • You can record a movie continuously up to 4 GB or 25 minutes. When the SD Memory Card is full, recording stops and the movie is saved. • The screen display in C mode is set according to the [LCD View Options] (p.191) setting made in the [A Rec. Mode 3] menu. However, the Bright/ Dark Area warning is not displayed during movie recording. • If you intend to record movies continuously for a long period, use of the AC adapter kit K-AC115 (optional) is recommended. (p.40) • You can also use an optional remote control unit to record a movie. (p.100) Press the four-way controller (5) in C mode to display the screen for selecting on/off for the use of the remote control instead of the normal Drive Mode setting screen.
