/4ltuhmne When your PFAFF Automatic is delivered to your home, it is ready for sewing. The machine is driven by an electric motor which requires no attendance, except that the brushes should be replaced alter about 400 hours of service. When you replace the brushes, also check whether the driving belt has the correct tension. If not, adEust the belt idler. The sewing speed is regulated either by knee or foot control. Before you connect the plug with the electric outlet, make sure that the voltage indicated on the motor name plate is within the tension range marked on the electric meter. 6
