Larger holes are material. Cut the and attach it to mended by inserting patches of selfpatch to fit the squared hole exactly the material by stitching back and forth across each edge of the patch. The Feed Cover Plate No. 25997 For embroidering and darning it is advisable to slip the small cover plate over the machine feed, even when the feed dog is dropped. This will facilitate the guiding of the fabric and increase the tension of the material in the hoop. The cover plate can be easily slipped on without re moving the needle. 25
