\\J j Operate your Pfaff FreeStyle Inserting the bobbin Insert the full bobbin into the bobbin case. In doing so, pull the thread sideways through slot A, then under the tension plate B until it rests in the opening (see arrow). Check: When you look at the bobbin and pull the thread. the bobbin must turn clockwise. B Checking the bobbin thread tension Hold the bobbin case by the thread and pull the thread upwards sharply. The bobbin case must slip downwards a little with each hand movement. Adjusting the setting: Turn setting screw C to the left very slightly - the bobbin thread tension becomes weaker. Turn setting screw C just a little to the right - the bobbin thread tension becomes stronger. D Inserting the bobbin case Lift lever F and slide the bobbin case onto the hook pin D as far as it will go. Opening E of the bobbin case must face upwards. E Check: Pull the bobbin thread sharply. The bobbin case must not fall out of the hook. F
