Threading the machine - tension settings

Operating your GrandQuilter™ Threading the machine 1. Raise the presser foot lifter. Press the Needle Up/ Down button twice to raise the needle to its highest A position. Switch off the main switch and unplug the machine. 2. Place a thread spool on the spool pin. 3. Pass the thread through the guide on the thread guide bar (A) from the behind. 4. Pass the thread through the B thread guide (B), then draw the thread between the pre- tenison disks (C). Note: The standard pre-tension dial setting is for the screw head to sinks about 4 mm (1/8ß to 3/16ß). If you Ànd that the thread is too loose while sewing, you can pass the thread through all three holes in the guide plate. C 21

Threading the machine
1. Raise the presser foot lifter.
Press the Needle Up/
Down button twice to raise
the needle to its highest
position.
Switch off the main switch
and unplug the machine.
2. Place a thread spool on the
spool pin.
3. Pass the thread through the
guide on the thread guide
bar (A) from the behind.
4. Pass the thread through the
thread guide (B), then draw
the thread between the pre-
tenison disks (C).
Note: The standard pre-tension
dial setting is for the screw head to
sinks about 4 mm (1/8

to 3/16
ß
).
If you

nd that the thread is too
loose while sewing, you can pass
the thread through all three holes
in the guide plate.
