5. Spare Parts Service Spare Parts Service (English) Extending the lifetime of IT products is the most effective way to reduce their environmental impact. Spare parts are not upgradeable, but repairable and/or replaceable. Spare parts are available for use in the repair of EPEAT registered products (refer to www.epeat.net ) for minimum 5 years after the point of sale or 2 years after the end of production, whichever is later. Spare parts are available for use in the repair of non-EPEAT registered products for minimum 3 years after the point of sales or 1 year after the end of production, whichever is later.
