Before Calling Service Picture Display Sound Power Symptoms Suggested steps to take • Uneven color display. • Ensure that the TV is not placed near any speakers or magnetic objects. • Double image / "ghost" image • Check antenna, cable or set-top box. • Snowy / noisy picture • Check antenna, cable and / or setup box connections. Ensure that they are properly connected. • Poor or no picture • Possible electrical interference from appliances or other sources. • No Sound • Check picture adjustments (brightness, contrast, color, tint). • Check if the volume of TV is not at the minimum. Try pressing the Volume + button of the remote control to increase sound. • No power • Check that the mute mode is not on. If mute mode is on, press the Mute button on the remote control to deactivate mute mode. • Ensure that the TV's AC power cord is plugged into the main socket and to your TV. If there is still no power, disconnect the plug. Wait for 60 seconds and re-attach plug. Turn on the TV again. Remote Control • TV does not respond to remote control • Try changing the batteries. • Aim remote control directly at remote control sensor lens on TV and try pressing any button on the remote control. 7
