HOW TO USE THE FORMAT CONTROL Format Options for models: 30PW8420 Many times while watching movies from a DVD player the image is shown in "letter box" format. This is the format that is shown in movie theaters. when shown on a TV screen, the image will have areas of black on top and bottom of the screen. After the desired format has been selected you can shift or "nudge" the picture by pressing the cursor to move the picture up or down. 1 Press the CURSOR RIGHT r or LEFT s buttons to select one of the toggle the screen format options. 2 While in the format options, you can press the CURSOR UP q or DOWN u buttons to "nudge" the picture up or down.
