DESCRIPTION OF REMOTE CONTROL BUTTONS POWER Button - Press to turn the TV On or Off. PIP Button - To activate Picture-in-Picture feature. SWAP Button - To swap program on the main screen with program in the PIP window. FROWNIE Button - To delete channels from the Favorite lists. FREEZE Button - To freeze picture on the TV screen. Ê, Æ, ·, and ∆, Buttons - Used with an external device when the ACC mode is selected. Press Stop Ê, Play Æ, Record · or Pause ∆. MENU Button - To display the main menu. AUTO PIC Button - To select from five pre-defined picture settings. (Personal, Movies, Sports, Weak Signal, or Multimedia). CH(annel) + or CH(annel)- Buttons To select channels in ascending or descending order. AV Button - To select different signal sources connected to the AV inputs on the TV. INFO Button - To display channel number, sound mode, time and status of the sleeptimer, etc. NUMBERIC (0-9) Buttons - To select TV channels or enter values in the on-screen menu. For single channel entries, press the numbered button for the channel you desire. The TV will pause for a second or two before changing to the chosen channel. DOT Button - To enter values for minor channels eg. 36.4 MODE Button - To control TV, DVD, ACC, DBS, VCR, etc., functions. SMILEY Button - To add channels to the "QuadraSurf" lists. FORMAT Button - To select picture format. OK Button - To activate selection when programming remote control. A/D (ANALOG/DIGITAL) Button - To select Analog or Digital mode. AUTO SOUND Button - To select factory-defined sound settings. (Theatre, Music, or Voice). CURSOR Buttons To highlight and select items on the TV onscreen menu. VOL(ume) + / - Buttons To increase or decrease the TV sound level. GUIDE Button - To display current program information. CC Button - Closed Captioning. A/CH (Alternate Channel) Button - Toggle between last viewed and current channel. MUTE Button - To cut out the sound from the TV. 6
