7 Personal settings 7.1 Handset Tones 7.1.1 Set the Ring Volume Danger When setting the ring volume of your phone or when the handset rings during an incoming call, please do not hold the handset too close to your ear as the volume of the ringing tone may damage your hearing. This feature enables you to select and set the melodies to be played when there is an external incoming call from a contact whose name is stored in your phonebook and belongs to a phonebook group. You can associate 1 ring melody to each group. There are three phonebook groups (Group A, B and C) available for you to organise your contacts.
