Before you start 01 DVD-R/RW compatibility • This player is compatible with DVD-R/RW discs recorded in DVD-Video format. • DVD-R/RW discs containing PC data can also be played. See below for file compatibility. • Unfinalized DVD-R/RW discs and VR mode DVD-R/RW discs cannot be played in this player. PC-created disc compatibility Discs recorded using a personal computer may not be playable in this unit due to the settings of the application software used to create the disc. Check with the software publisher for more detailed information. DualDisc playback A DualDisc is a new two -sided disc, one side of which contains DVD content -video, audio, etc. -while the other side contains non-DVD content such as digital audio material. The DVD side of a DualDisc will play in this product (excluding any DVD-Audio content). The non-DVD, audio side of the disc is not compatible with this player. It is possible that when loading or ejecting a DualDisc, the opposite side to that being played will be scratched. Scratched discs may not be playable. For more detailed information on the DualDisc specification, please refer to the disc manufacturer or disc retailer.
