CLD-V2600 / 2400 Level I & III • Chapter Three 3 MANUAL CONTROL - Level I The CLD-V2600 and the CLD-V2400 can be manually controlled by using the front panel buttons, the remote control unit CU-V113, packaged with the player, or the optional remote control unit RU-V103 sold separately, or a Pioneer Barcode Reader. 3.1 Front Panel Buttons There are eight control buttons on the front of the CLD-V2600: STOP-OPEN/CLOSE, PAUSE, PLAY, DISPLAY ON/OFF, STILL/STEP (Forward and Reverse), SKIP (Forward and Reverse). There is also a two speed SCAN control shuttle dial on the front. There are six control buttons on the front of the CLD-V2400 player: STOP-OPEN/CLOSE; PLAY; SKIP (Forward and Reverse); SCAN (Forward and Reverse). This section describes how to use these buttons in Manual Mode for Level I control of the players. If a disc is playing, pressing this button once spins down the disc, pressing it a second time opens the door and ejects the disc tray. Explanation: The operation performed when the STOP-OPEN/CLOSE button is pressed depends on the active mode of the player. In Spin Up or Random Access Mode If the OPEN/CLOSE button is pressed when the player is in Spin Up or Random Access Mode, the active mode of the player changes to Reject Mode and the player enters Park when disc rotation stops. (Press the button again to open the disc tray.) In Spin Down Mode If this button is pressed when the player is in Spin Down Mode, processing waits until the player enters Park. When the player enters Park, the disc tray opens. In Park Mode or while door is closed If this button is pressed when the player is in Park or while the disc tray is closed, the player opens the disc tray. In Door Open Mode or while door is opened If this button is pressed when the player is in Door Open Mode or while the disc tray is opened, the player closes the disc tray. MANUAL CONTROL
Level I
The CLD-V2600 and the CLD-V2400 can be manually controlled by using the front
panel buttons, the remote control unit CU-V113, packaged with the player, or the
optional remote control unit RU-V103 sold separately, or a Pioneer Barcode Reader.
3.1 Front Panel Buttons

STOP-OPEN/CLOSE,
PAUSE, PLAY, DISPLAY ON/OFF, STILL/STEP (Forward and Reverse), SKIP (Forward
and Reverse).
