Audio Adjustments Section 08 English 5 Press SOURCE and hold until the unit turns off. 6 Press OPEN to open the front panel. 7 Press and hold AUDIO to enter the auto TA and EQ measurement mode. 8 Plug the microphone into the microphone input jack on this unit. 13 Store the microphone carefully in the glove compartment. If the microphone is subjected to direct sunlight for an extended period, high temperatures may cause distortion, color change or malfunction. Note Make sure you have disconnected the microphone before pressing OPEN to open or close the panel (an alert sounds if the mic is still connected). 9 Press a to start the auto TA and EQ. 10 Get out of the car and close the door within 10 seconds when the 10-second count-down starts. The measurement tone (noise) is outputted from the speakers, and auto TA and EQ begins. # When all speakers are connected, auto TA and EQ is completed in about six minutes. # To stop auto TA and EQ, press any buttons other than BAND. # To cancel auto TA and EQ part way through, press BAND. 11 When auto TA and EQ is completed, Complete is displayed. When correct measurement of car interior acoustic characteristics is not possible, an error message is displayed.
