DataMan2 Operating Instructions By pressing the Auto Connect button, the computer detects the DVD player and autosets the port and rate selections. The connections are confirmed when the selections are revealed in the Communication Setting box. The example below shows the port as Com 2 with a signal rate of 4800 bps as the detected communication settings. 2.2.2 Manual Connect Option Follow the instructions below to manually set the communication connections. 1. Launch the DataMan2 program. Click on Accept for the End User License Agreement to continue. 2. Click on a port option. 3. Click on a rate option. 4. Click on the Auto Connect button to initiate the communication settings. 2.2.3 Disconnect Option If the DVD player is removed or exchanged with another unit, click on the Disconnect button before moving the current player.
