BLUETOOTH® WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY To use your Bluetooth source device (smartphone, tablet or computer) with the SP-SB03 Speaker Base, you must first pair your Bluetooth source device with your Speaker Base. Pairing creates the ability for your Bluetooth device to connect with your Speaker Base wirelessly and exchange information. You only have to pair your Speaker Base with your Bluetooth device one time for this exchange of information to take place. English 9 PAIR AND CONNECT YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE 1. Make sure your Bluetooth device and Speaker Base are powered on and the Bluetooth source is selected on the Speaker Base. (The Bluetooth logo on the front panel will illuminate.) 2. Activate the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth source device and check to make sure it is actively looking for or scanning for a Bluetooth device. 3. Press and hold the Bluetooth Pairing button on the front of the Speaker Base until the Bluetooth light begins to flash slowly. 4. Your Speaker Base will now appear as a connection option on the display of your Bluetooth source device. Select "Pioneer Speaker Base" on your Bluetooth device to initiate pairing. 5. After a few seconds, your Speaker Base will now be paired with your Bluetooth device and you can enjoy music playback wirelessly. 6. Using the included remote for your Speaker Base, you can control several functions of your Bluetooth source device, including forward and reverse track skip, pause and play of the current track, and volume up and down. NOTE: Pioneer cannot guarantee compatibility with all phones or music applications.
