Symptom Colour of the playback pictures is different from the picture on the LCD screen during recording. Pictures are not displayed. Problem Sunlight or light from another source is shining directly into the lens during recording. A memory card with non-DCF pictures recorded with another camera is loaded in the camera. I cannot erase pictures. There is no response from the camera while pressing any buttons. All the pictures in memory are protected. The LCD screen is frozen or the camera is hanged. Solution Position the camera so sunlight does not shine directly onto the lens. This camera cannot display nonDCF pictures recorded onto a memory card used by another digital camera. Unprotect the pictures you want to delete. Remove and re-install the battery or batteries to reset the camera. Your valuable data stored in the camera will not be lost. TV out Symptom LCD screen does not appear on the screen of the connected television Images do not display in color on TV. Problem Solution There is a problem with the camera-TV connection Or TV setup is wrong Or Video system is incompatible. Use the optional video cable to connect the camera to the TV Or Consult the documentation of the TV and put it in its video mode Or Select the proper video output system. Wrong system selection.
