ULTRA-CLEAR, CRISP HIGHS WITHOUT COLORATION OR DISTORTION More than 40 years of tweeter innovation, design and prototyping has led to the development of the new 1" Hi-Res certified Pinnacle Ring Radiator™ Tweeter. The Pinnacle Tweeter delivers ultra-clear, crisp highs and dramatically improves dispersion to a broad "sweet spot." Additionally, the critically damped rear-chamber defeats unwanted resonances and ringing. SMOOTH, DETAILED MID-RANGE REPRODUCTION Polk developed the new Turbine Cone™ specifically for the Legend series to ensure the natural reproduction of the mid-range. A combination of foam core and molded Turbine geometry dramatically increases damping and minimizes resonance, resulting in smooth, detailed mid-range that's utterly life-like. BETTER BASS BY DESIGN Traditionally ported loudspeakers have a big problem; the lower and louder they play, the more turbulence and noise they create, masking deep bass detail. Our engineers worked tirelessly, fine-tuning the Enhanced Power Port™ to smoothly transition airflow from the speaker. TAKE HOME THEATER TO NEW HEIGHTS Designed to seamlessly and beautifully integrate with the Legend L600 and L800 floorstanding speakers, the L900 advanced height module creates a more immersive, 3D sound stage with Dolby Atmos®, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization, DTS®, DTS:X®, DTS Virtual:X and IMAX® Enhanced. The Pinnacle Ring Radiator Tweeter is placed horizontally alongside the Turbine Cone for proper phase and time alignment, allowing sound to bounce off the ceiling into a larger listening area 'sweet spot.'
