First Use of Machine Before using the machine for the first time, water should be boiled in it twice without any additives. 1. Place the machine on a flat surface. 2. Fill the kettle with water. Do not overfill! Use the water level indicator. 3. Place the kettle flush on the base. 4. Electrical connection - Check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use is the same as that of the machine. Details are to be found on the label on the base. - Only connect the machine to a property installed 110V~50-60Hz safety socket. 5. Switch the machine to position "ON". The LED indicator lamp on the switch shows that the water is being boiled. 6. After boiling the machine switches off automatically. Disconnect the machine from the main electrical supply. Do not press up the lid when pouring. Cleaning Always remove the plug from the mains supply before cleaning the machine. The exterior of the machine should be cleaned, if necessary, with a slightly damp cloth additives. The calcium filter can be removed for cleaning. This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources.
