CD player Wake function Listening to CD 1. Lift open the CD compartment door. 2. Insert a disc and close the door. 3. Press to select CD mode and start CD playback. Press to pause playback and press again to resume. 4. Adjust volume to your desired level. 5. Press to return to beginning of current track or press a second time to go back to the previous track. Press to skip to next track. Press and hold to search through a track. 6. Press to stop playback. 7. Press ON to listen to the radio or OFF to turn off the unit. • If disc is paused for more than 5 minutes, the CD player will resume to stop mode automatically. • If disc is stopped in the CD mode for more than 30 minutes without further operations, the unit will turn off automatically. Setting wake time 1. Press WAKE TIME once. The current wake time flashes on the display. 2. Press or to set the wake time. The time decrements or increments will change at a faster rate when you press and hold the buttons. AM or PM indicator also lights beside the time on the display. 3. When finished, wait for about 5 seconds or press WAKE TIME to exit wake time setting mode. The Wake to Alarm mode will be automatically activated. Selecting wake source 1. If your desired wake source is radio or CD: • Wake to Radio - select an AM or FM station (see Radio directions). • Wake to CD - insert a CD in the CD compartment. 2. Set a wake time (see Setting Wake Time directions). 3. Press WAKE MODE repeatedly to select a wake source. The indicator will light next to the the wake source icons on the right of the display to indicate the currently selected wake source: wake by alarm wake by radio wake by CD Sleep function • Once the wake source is selected, the wake function will be activated at the set wake time. Checking wake time Press WAKE TIME to show the current wake time which flashes briefly on the display. Turning off alarm To silence the alarm momentarily: • Press SNOOZE or any one of the SmartSnoozeTM buttons ( , , or ). This operation allows extra sleep time when the alarm sounds. The alarm will sound again when the snooze period (9 minutes) is over. (Read "SmartSnoozeTM") Stop the wake function: Press OFF. The alarm will activate again at the same time on the following day. Cancel the wake function completely: Press WAKE MODE repeatedly until no indicator lights next to the wake source icons. SmartSnoozeTM • SmartSnoozeTM buttons include: , , or • The snooze period is fixed and cannot be changed. You can set the duration (up to 90 minutes) before the radio or CD player turns off automatically. 1. Press SLEEP repeatedly to select a duration (90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 min or OFF) before the radio or CD player turns off automatically. • The default sleep time is 60 minutes. • By default, the radio will be switched on once SLEEP is pressed. You may change source to the CD player by pressing if a disc is loaded. 2. To check the remaining duration before the unit turns off, press SLEEP once. 3. To cancel the sleep function, press SNOOZE or OFF. Note that the Alarm mode is not affected by the volume control. If you set the SLEEP function with a low volume setting for the Radio before going to bed, it is advisable to use Wake to Alarm mode to wake you up since the Alarm will be at a louder volume setting than the Radio mode. Warranty information 12 Month Limited Warranty Applies to RCA Clock Radios AUDIOVOX ACCESSORIES CORP. (the Company) warrants to the original retail purchaser of this product that should this product or any part thereof, under normal use and conditions, be proven defective in material or workmanship within 12 months from the date of original purchase, such defect(s) will be repaired or replaced with reconditioned product (at the Company's option) without charge for parts and repair labor. To obtain repair or replacement within the terms of this Warranty, the product is to be delivered with proof of warranty coverage (e.g. dated bill of sale), specification of defect(s), transportation prepaid, to the Company at the address shown below. This Warranty does not extend to the elimination of externally generated static or noise, to correction of antenna problems, loss/interruptions of broadcast or internet service, to costs incurred for installation, removal or reinstallation of product, to corruptions caused by computer viruses, spyware or other malware, to loss of media, files, data or content, or to damage to tapes, discs, removable memory devices or cards, speakers, accessories, computers, computer peripherals, other media players, home networks or vehicle electrical systems. This Warranty does not apply to any product or part thereof which, in the opinion of the Company, has suffered or been damaged through alteration, improper installation, mishandling, misuse, neglect, accident, or by removal or defacement of the factory serial number/bar code label(s). THE EXTENT OF THE COMPANY'S LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT PROVIDED ABOVE AND, IN NO EVENT, SHALL THE COMPANY'S LIABILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY PURCHASER FOR THE PRODUCT. This Warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties or liabilities. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY. ANY ACTION FOR BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY HEREUNDER INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY MUST BE BROUGHT WITHIN A PERIOD OF 24 MONTHS FROM DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE. IN NO CASE SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY. No person or representative is authorized to assume for the Company any liability other than expressed herein in connection with the sale of this product. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damage so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Recommendations before returning your product for a warranty claim: • Properly pack your unit. Include any remotes, memory cards, cables, etc. which were originally provided with the product. However DO NOT return any removable batteries, even if batteries were included with the original purchase. We recommend using the original carton and packing materials. Ship to the address shown below. • Note that product will be returned with factory default settings. Consumer will be responsible to restore any personal preference settings.
