Your RCU704 universal remote requires 2 new AAA alkaline battedes (sold separately). To install the batteries: 1. Turn the mit oveq, and remove the battery compartment cover 2. Insert the battedes, matching the batteries to the (+) and f) marks inside the battery case. Manuallytum on the component you wish to program the remote to operate. 2. Find the three-digit code for your brmd of TV, VCR. DVD, satellite receiver or cable box in the enclosed code lists. 3.
