Stopwatch Calorie Pulse Rate Measuring Pulse Rate 1. Follow the above instructions to enter pulse rate mode, the unit will ask you to place finger on the pulse rate sensor. 2. Press SELECT to enter pulse rate mode. Attention This device is a novelty item not meant to be a piece of medical equipment and it is to be used solely as an approximate calculation to aid in the monitoring of one's general health parameters during exercise. You should consult with your doctor before starting any exercise program. Note • Place your finger on the sensor gently, applying too much pressure to the sensor may lead to measurement error or inaccuracy. • Do not move your finger when measuring pulse rate. • Do not take measurements while moving • Do not measure if finger is dirty or oily • Do not expose the sensor directly to sunlight during measurment.
