Before you begin Dear RCA Customer, Thank you for purchasing the Player. This product will play mp3 and Windows Media™ audio (WMA) content as well as Digital Rights Management (WMDRM-9) protected music files. RCA easyRip™ Media Software, installed automatically when you connected this player to your PC, lets you import music files from CDs and other sources, organize your music library, and transfer unprotected MP3 and WMA files to and from this player. Computer system requirements • Pentium III 500MHz or higher recommended • Windows® XP (service pack 1 or higher) or Windows Vista™ • Internet access • Windows Media Player 10 or higher • 250MB or more free hard disk space for the software • 128MB RAM (256MB recommended) • CD drive capable of digital audio extraction • USB port (2.0 recommended) • Sound card Copyright warning This player is for your personal use only. Back up your data As with any portable player, you must back up the drive regularly. The manufacturer is not responsible for lost data. Installing the battery in the player 1. Apply thumb pressure to slide the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow, then remove the cover. 2. Insert the supplied AAA battery, following the polarity marks in the battery compartment. 3. Replace the cover. • Refer to the battery level icon on the display to check the battery level. Replace the battery when the icon is empty.
